Amy Mourad, PT, MPT Physical Therapist
Amy
Amy has been a physical therapist for over 19 years, primarily in NJ, but recently relocated to southern California in 2015 with her family. Amy received her Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physical Therapy degrees from The University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. She has treated patients with orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and geriatric diagnoses but loves the sports-related injury population the best! Amy has worked with many athletes and performing artists, including football, hockey, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, runners, gymnasts, and dancers.
Amy has had extensive training in manual therapy techniques, exercise philosophies such as pilates, Joga, and McKenzie back rehabilitation, vestibular ailments, taping techniques (Kinesiotaping, Rocktape, McConnell, and Dynamic Taping), and even return-to-sport following concussion injuries. Amy is passionate about wellness and fitness and incorporates these philosophies into her treatment plans for her patients.
Amy enjoys getting outdoors with her two daughters and husband when she is not working. Whether it be relaxing at the beach, skiing, or paddleboarding, she loves the flexibility of the SoCal lifestyle.
